The beach at Aberdeen just north of the River (Dee?). Remnants of fortress Britain.
The kitchen of flat 257 in Hector Boece Court of Hillhead Halls of the University of Aberdeen, or rather Aberdeen University.
One of the first delights I came across when I hired a car and drove north.
Work on the High street in Aberdeen, south of the the Auld Toone Cafe I think. Old Aberdeen.
Out from one of those hills on Skye. Was it Dunvegan? Campsite near Verkasaig Bay perhaps.
I got about half way up I think, but maybe not even that much, here's the rest of the way up.
The Cuillin hills from a distance perhaps.
That cobblestone work on the High street.
Me at Castle Dunnotar (spelled?) which must be south of Aberdeen.
Failed memorial, they ran out of money. Was going to be exact replica of Parthenon in memory of the soldiers of the Napoleonic Wars. I think its by the Observatory.
A pearl found by an appreciative swine. I stopped at a roadside picnic table. I think a lake on one side, hill on the other. And it just seemed to be cut into the side of this hill this little cool eden of a waterfall with a stream. Somewhere westerly during hired car solo trip.
Glasgow, perhaps outside that market. Nice, eh?
Train station at Glasgow. I wonder if they still have those futuristic plastic disc flying saucer seat bench things which you can barely discern to the left of the sign on the right.
The lighthouse at John O Groates. Note Orkney.
I don't recall where this is. Somewhere not too far from Aberdeen perhaps. It's hard to tell those are seagulls flying down there.
Oops, that wasn't supposed to be in there.
One of the twin toilets in 257 Hector Boece Court in Hillhead Halls. Is it the left one?
St. Machar's Cathedral. About half way between Hillhead and many of my classes.
There's always Loch Ness.
The Science building where I had Physics classes. Pretty Sciency isn't it?
Somewhere near Aberdeen there's a sculpture of a Scotsman in the woods on a hillside by the side of the road. One night at four in the morning we took off to drive around in Hamidur Salim Laskar's hired car and there it was, lit up like the empire state building. Maybe I imagined it.
The Sir Walter Scott memorial in Edinburgh with a pigeon flying by. By Princes Street.
On the Isle of Skye.
Smoo Cave. Vikings hid there. Vikings named it. On the north coast.
Somewhere near John O Groates I think.
From the halfway up the hill looking down this time.
