some have said when captions are present, titles are redundant.
i'm not sure that i don't disagree

i see value in having titles in certain situations, but i am not sure if this is one of them

if the title appears near the image, before the caption is visible, perhaps it's useful then, as a short summary
of what might be depicted
a precursor for the caption, if you will

perhaps caption is the wrong description for this area, perhaps this should be "comments"

or perhaps 'commentary'

but maybe the area for people to add words should have no title
